Associate Professor - Applied Mathematics / Numerical Analysis

Abdallah Shuaibi (Shuibi) received a B.Sc. in Pure Mathematics (1987), an M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics/Algebra/Semigroup Theory (1991), an M.A. in Applied Mathematics (2001), and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics/Numerical Analysis (2003). In September 2003, he joined the faculty of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at DePaul University as Visiting Assistant Professor. In the fall of 2005, he joined the faculty of the Mathematics Department at Truman College as an Assistant Professor.

Shuibi's background is in Numerical analysis and Scientific Computing. His current research interests are in Numerical Methods for Large-Scale Ill-Posed Problems and their Applications. He is a member of the American Mathematical Society (AMS),the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), and the Mathematical Association of America (MAA).
