motivated you will be in all your classes! Are jobs
available in these areas with a two-year degree? A recent study by the City Colleges of How much
is a two-year degree worth?
A study showed that a student with a two-year college degree would
make an average $300,000 more over a lifetime than a high school
graduate. In other words, you will
earn $3.50 more per hour over a 40 year period. How hard
do I have to work to succeed in these programs? Well, how hard do you have to work to get a
$3.50 raise from your current employer?
These programs will need your consistent attendance. A full load of 5 classes will require a
full week’s effort of 35-40 hours. Is there
an opportunity to apply my Associate in Applied Science degree towards a
4-year degree? Yes, many
of the classes will transfer but some may not depending
on the University you have selected.
Some Universities accept 100% of the courses in an AAS degree through
special articulation agreements or through their Bachelor of Art in General
