A Community College offers this alternate path to help part time students looking for courses that will assist them with their current job, help them change jobs, or better one’s position.  All of these possibilities can be accomplished in a shorter period of time, too.  The AAS requires 15 courses to be taken in one’s concentration and only 5 courses in General Education.

Generally, an AAS is not 100% transferable for those pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business.  Daley College does have a growing list of special articulation agreements making our AAS 100% transferable.  Agreements with Governors State, DeVry, and Franklin University make our AAS 100% transferable for their Bachelors of Science Degree in Business.  In addition, GSU offers their Junior-level Business Program here at Daley College.

Our AAS can be completely transferable into a Bachelor of Art in General Studies program which is offered at many institutions such as GSU, Chicago State, Northeastern, DePaul, and the list goes on.  This very flexible degree path will give credit for work experience and allow the student a greater voice in course selection.  This path does require careful consideration by the student in developing their unique degree.

These educational opportunities might be the solution to your personal situation and career goals.  Get more information and obtain your dream!
