Gitte Maronde

Before she was hired at Harold Washington College in August 2001, Gitte Maronde taught ESL at Columbia College and Lakeview Learning Center in Chicago. She also taught German, her native language for BOSCH. After receiving a Bachelor's in Fine Arts Degree and an Master's in Fine Arts, combining her background in art and ESL, Gitte brings creativity into every class experience. She studied Applied Linguistics at UIC and graduated with an MA in TESOL in 1995. Now, Gitte claims to find her true creative outlet in teaching. Her students, meanwhile, beg for less homework.
