Marta Lacorte


Marta Lacorte received her B.A. in Catalan Language and Literature from the University of Barcelona. She has taught different levels of Spanish in the Instituto Cervantes in Chicago, Loyola University, and in the University of Illinois at Chicago where she completed an M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics. In her class she emphasizes the use of Spanish at all times and insists on the importance of homework and oral practice speaking. She loves to study languages. Japanese is first in her list, and believes she can speak French very well. She bikes to school and everywhere else.
