This comprehensive training is recommended for 
employees who have a potential for hazardous material exposure. It meets off-site training requirements for 
general site workers and RCRA operations site 
workers. This course is approved by the National 
Institute of Environmental Health and Safety and by 
the United States Environmental Protection Agency. 
Key subjects presented include:
• properties of hazardous materials
• selection, use and care of personal protective
  equipment
• site safety and health responsibilities, plans
  and procedures
• emergency response planning
• decontamination procedures and methods.
At least one-third of this training is hands-on 
exercises.  Class fee $400.

The course provides a thorough overview of the major topics and concerns in hazardous materials management, which prepares environmental mangers to take the CHMM Exam.  In addition, many environmental professionals take the course to satisfy training requirements, enhance their breadth of competence in the profession to get up-to-date information.
