Get the skills and training you need to secure a rewarding IT career!

Earning A+ certification means that the individual possesses the knowledge, skills, and customer relations experience essential for a successful entry-level (6 months experience) computer service technician, as defined by experts from companies across the industry. To become certified, you must pass two exams -- the Core and the Operating Systems module portion. The tests cover a broad range of hardware and software technologies, but are not related to any vendor-specific products. When both portions are passed, the candidate receives the A+ designation.

Wright recognizes that most employers would like to see some experience listed on a candidate’s resume. As such, we offer unpaid internships in our Information Technology department that maintains over 1000 PCs. The internship can be designed where if the student is employed they do not have to quit their current employment while gaining experience in their new career. The student applicant must have passed both of the A+ exams, received all the required training at Wright College and met all pre-requisites.
