This class is an overall look at Chicago - it's architecture, people and events. Each week there is a slide presentation showing a new segment of the history of this great city. The time spans from the early settlers to the modern skyscrapers of today. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussion by asking questions and relating personal knowledge and experiences. The teacher is an expert on the history of Chicago and especially the Great Chicago Fire. 10 sessions. $55 |

Italian American History This new course will provide additional knowledge and a better understanding of the Italian American contribution to the history of the United States through class discussion, readings, personal experiences, stories, news clips, and guest speakers. A Sunday neighborhood visit will be planned during class. 6 sessions, $72
