The mission of Business & Industry Services is to provide quality training services in partnership with business and industry which upgrades employee skills to meet the demands of the future workforce.

Computer skills training in over 16 different software applications at various levels in our 17 labs, and a portable lab we can bring to your location;
Customized training based on your current company need: we have over 100 experts, consultants, trainers, and facilitators;
English as a Second Language, applied math, reading, and other workplace basic skills at your work site to upgrade your employees' skills;
Job candidates, recently trained in updated skills: we have 10,000 adults every year that upgrade their skills at Wright College;
Funding options: we have relationships with several funding sources and have skilled grant writers to assist you.

Christopher Wilkerson
Director, Business & Industry Services

Christopher introduces Business & Industry Services to business and industry leaders throughout the Chicagoland area. He talks regularly with individuals to discuss business goals, diagnose current needs, and prescribe achievable solutions. Given his combination background in consulting and training, he offers a unique and varied perspective to businesses. Jan Baccus
Director, Workforce Training Center

In addition to coordinating Workforce Training Center operations, Jan works in partnership with businesses to assess their needs and designs training or consulting solutions to meet those needs. She is certified as a Basic Skills Specialist through the Secretary of State's Office, and also in Customer Service through GlobalAchieve (formerly Zenger Miller.)
