The Credit Photography Program at Truman offers classes in beginning and
advanced black and white, color, appreciation (history), and digital and
computer art.  We emphasize both the craft and art of photography, and
the classes are popular with a wide range of students including those
wishing to transfer to four year institutions, those interested in a
commercial career, and those who are just interested in exploring this
amazing art form for their own interests. 

Our excellent facilities include two professional darkrooms, a studio and a digital imaging lab. We strive in our classes to encourage a life-long love and respect for this exciting, challenging and beautiful art.

Photography Courses may be used:
-Towards an Associates Degree with a major in Fine Arts
-For Transfer to four year universities and art schools (most courses are IAI   approved for transfer to participating four year universities)
-As electives towards a Truman Collage Associate of Arts Degree
-For commercial employment
-For self-enrichment

All art courses in the regular college art program carry full credit.
